Meet Cecilia Galliano

Hello! I’m Cecilia. My passion for art began in childhood when, instead of a box of crayons, I received a watercolor paint set. I realized my potential early on after winning a nationwide children’s art contest in Costa Rica, my native country, for a watercolor painting I created on my own.

In 2000, while living in Austin, Texas, a door opened that allowed me more time to dedicate to what truly lived in my heart. I began painting with watercolors, later moved into acrylics during the pandemic, and eventually embraced mixed media, allowing the art to find its own voice. Over the years, selling original pieces locally encouraged me to continue this creative path.

As I follow my passion and create beautiful, messy, and fun art, I’ve grown more confident sharing my work and my story. Painting lights up my soul, and I hope it shines yours as well.
